SYNOPSIS OF 9/7/23 GAME

September 7th....Panthers first home game. The players were ready, and the stands were packed with red shirts. Hillcrest started off fast with a defensive stop, to give the offense great field position. Luke connected with Jacoby on a 23-yard touchdown pass to go up 7 to 0. Defense made another big stop with Ford Morris recovering a fumble. Offense comes on the field an connects with Jacoby for a 12-yard touchdown pass. The score is now 14 to 0 Hillcrest. Beginning the second half, Gainesville came out with 3 quick touchdowns putting the score 21 to 14 Gainesville. Hillcrest offense answers back with a 68-yard touchdown run by KJ to tie the game up 21 to 21. Later In the 4th quarter Gainesville scores a touchdown to win the game 28 to 21.
